Students of Rato Bangala School organised a charity show to help victims of the 8-October earthquake, which killed around 80,000 Pakistanis. The students feel that their small contribution could make some difference. Lorina Sthapit, organiser, was disheartened when people did not support her idea. But they managed to collect Rs 1,50,000 all the same. The money collected was handed over to a representative of the Pakistan Embassy.
