Pranil Timilsina
(of G.P fame) has changed the name of his new unreleased album from Taraz to May 18th. 18 May happens to be the star's birthday. He has recently collaborated with Nabin Bhattarai and released Ekta, a single that is already receiving heavy airplay on FM.

Two new daddies in the music industry: hearty congratulations to lyricist Naresh Dev Pant and singer Tshering Bhutia, whose sons were born in B and B hospital, 20 Sept. and Patan hospital 27 Sept. respectively.

Karma Band is soon to release their album SMS (Short message songs). They are now called Karma and Surendra Man Singh and the line up has Basudev as the lead guitarist. Their previous axe man Hari is now with Nepathya.

 
Sugam Pokharel
, Nalina Chitrakar and Saroj Dutta will be heading to the land down under this November. Fans in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra can expect a spectacular performance. Sugam, formerly known as 1MB, is the Selected One on Hits FM 91.2 for the month of Kartik.

Women in Concert Part II took place at Dechenling with Pooja Gurung, Preeti Kaur and Sheri Thapa added to the old line up of performers Vidhea Shrestha, Sapna Thapa, Rachana Gurung Sharma and Abhaya Subba. Like the previous year it was held at Dechenling Garden, Thamel. Vidhea, part of the organiser, said they would like the event to be an annual one wherein younger female singers and musicians are encouraged to showcase their talent.
