The biggest industrial festival of eastern Nepal, Birat Mahotsav, took place in Biratnagar after five years. The nine-day festival was inaugurated by Crown Prince Paras. Organised by Morang Industrial Organisation and managed by Everest Events and Exhibitions, the festival had 135 business stalls. Ramp shows pulled a crowd as did art exhibitions and live comedy shows, where Tito Satya actors performed.
