Owls. They aren't particularly cute with their wide and curious eyes so why did Marc Jacobs use an owl motif in his A/W09 collection? Why are owl accessories stocked in every store? How did this phenomenon come about? Nobody knows when the owl trend started. Some say the wise bird from mythology swooped to become a trendsetter after being a trusted friend of Harry Potter.  Some beg to differ that the owls were already a fashion statement amongst the hippies during the 1970's. However, one thing all fashionistas will agree upon is that whatever the history, owl trend is here to stay.
