For the first time in WAVE's history, the models were allowed to rummage through piles of clothes and shoes and stacks of accessories. There were no rules or trends to follow. However, there was a catch. They had to dress like a Korean pop star and after attempts of mix and matches, WAVE reckons the models look every bit of a star. Photos: Iris Studio

Do you listen to K Pop ?
Not really. But i have a few K-Pop songs in my iPod. I don't know how it got there.
Favourite bands and why?
Like I said, I don't listen to K-pop but I like Jay Park since he's a b-boy and his style is unique.
Do you follow K Pop fashion?
I don't follow any particular fashion. That's why I always look like a train wreck haha.
How are you attracted to K-Pop?
I guess it is because of all the hype created by the Korean movies. My sister used to watch a whole lot of Korean dramsa and I like the way the guys would dress up; not exactly 'manly' but it was chic. Then after watching the K-pop music videos on TV, I was attracted to their flamboyant style and their wild sense of fashion.

Girls Generation is a bunch of pretty girls and 2NE1 because they are the whole package.

It was through Arirang that I started to watch the drama serials and follow K-Pop.

I do like Big Bang, especially Tae Yang because he's such a cutie.

Sometimes.

When the K-Pop culture hits you, it smacks you right on your face that you are suddenly aware of it. That was how I first knew about K-Pop.

Yup. I always do.
Favourite bands and why?
FT Island. It's not surprising that he's the lead vocalist in FT Island because his voice is AMAZING, especially in Bad Woman and Missing you. Plus he's a good actor. And Big Bang. I just love the way they express themselves.
Do you follow K pop fashion?
Yes. The Koreans have a sense of style and fashion.
How are you attracted to K-Pop?
I'll answer this as a man. There's no denying Korean girls are cute.

There are no other versatile bands than 2NE1. Although they are individuals, they are a whole package as a group.

Of course. I inspire to dress like the girls from 2NE1.

Ever since Arirang first came to the television screen, I have been hooked to their serials and music videos.
