Dancing in the moonlight – Top Loader
I see myself at a bonfire with a daisy garland on my head and just spinning round and round, without a care in the world, to this song.

I'm beamin – Lupe Fiasco
What sets Lupe Fiasco apart from other rap artists is that he is the truth and a genius, coming up with the illest metaphors. He is one of the few rap artists that I respect.

MemorY – Cats The Musical
I have a soft spot for musicals especially Andrew Lloyd Webber's. I sang this at a school function but Elaine Paige takes the cake as no one can sing it as beautifully as her.

Come Close – Common featuring Mary J Blige
Besides the fact that Common is a beautiful man, this song is simplicity personified. There's no trying hard and isn't your 'in your face' love song.

A change is gonna come – Sam Cooke
I don't know what it is about Sam Cooke that makes me wish I was born during his time. He sings with so much emotion which cuts deep down that one can't help but tear up.

Lost without you – Robin Thicke
Move over, Justin Timberlake. This blue-eyed singer has taken over my heart. 'Lost without you' oozes so much sex appeal that you would want to be the lady (that's his wife, by the way) in the music video. Just the perfect song for some lovin'!

Cold War – Janelle Monae
Janelle Monae was an accidental find on YouTube and ever since then, she has never left my playlist. This song is self explanatory as to why she is such a true talent.

So High – John Legend
Nobody does R&B the way Legend does. And oh, if I ever renew my vows, it will be to this song.
