Dharan has always been quick to adopt new trends. Stunt riding, for example, is already a hit with the youth in Dharan. Team Osiris, consisting of Firoz Limbu, Biswo Raj Rai, Shantan Dewan, Vikush Pradhan and Kalyan Rai, introduced stunt riding, not only in Dharan but the whole eastern region.

But what exactly is Stunt riding? Stunt riding, is a motorcycle sport characterised by stunts involving acrobatic maneuvering of motorcycle and sometimes the rider. "My passion for stunt riding came about after watching bike stunts on TV and YouTube. My friends and I went on to practice basic stunts and uploaded photos of the day on our Facebook page." said Firoz Limbu. It was only when the photos were liked and shared by Facebookers through Modification Dharan page that Team Osiris was formed.

Riding a motorcycle itself is considered dangerous due to the increasing numbers of accidents and when the Team Osiris's parents learnt that their sons were using their bikes to perform stunts, they were totally against the whole idea.  "Ladera haat khutta matra bhachaune hoina kina jyaan lai marna khojeko. My dad scolded me the first time he heard what I was doing. It's fair to say that not only our family but the general public think stunt riding is a waste of time and fuel. No one trusted us  when we said that stunt riding is also an Adventure Sport."

Initially, the bikers used public roads to practice stunts as there were no other options until they met Arun Lama, president of NASA (Nepal Automobile Sport Association), the 1st legal body supporting auto stunters and adventure bikers in Nepal. Through him, Team Osiris became the 2nd legalized bike stunters. After becoming legal, there came the responsibility and the need to create awareness towards traffic rules and safety hence the search for a safe place to practice and perform stunts. Firoz and Shantan are the only ones from Osiris to have attended a workshop from professional bike stunters from Kathmandu.

Firoz got the opportunity to perform his first bike stunt show with Team Fenix in Kathmandu. "It was a good experience to showcase a passion and a hobby. I was a bit nervous but seeing the crowd and hearing their encouragement, I got the confidence." As of date, Team Osiris has already performed in Dharan, Pathri, Biratnagar and Kathmandu. They are determined to develop the scene as they are really ardent about stunt riding. During Team Osiris's free time, they involve themselves with social work and actively raise funds through bike stunt shows.
