The Second World Wetlands Day was celebrated in Taudaha, Kathmandu, with different programmes, and culminated in a jamboree on 28 January. Siberian birds were the highlight of the bird watching event and some 50 cyclists participated in a rally that started off from Exhibition Road to Taudaha. Nature Hike Race was the most interesting of the events where the hikers walked from Taudaha up to a nearby hill.
