Attractions: Claiming to be the highest marathon in the world at an altitude of 5,356m at the Khumbu Icefall. The routes being used will be the same as the ones used by Late Tenzing Norgay Sherpa and Sir Edmund Hillary while climbing Everest in 1953.
What: International Symposium on Mountain Resource Management
When: May 29th to May 31st
Attractions: The Aquatic Ecology Centre, Kathmandu University and Tribhuvan University in collaboration with the University of Life Sciences, Norway, come together to discuss topics ranging from environmental change to resource management.
What:Kgarira Open Basketball Tournament

Attractions: BMX stunts, bands, foodstalls and possibly cheerleaders along with the finest basketball players Nepal has to offer.

Attractions: A number of nepalese hip-hop artists like Nepsydaz, GX Soul and Yama touring Nepal to spread the message of hip-hop while filming a documentary.
What: Miss IDAHO Nepal beauty contest for Nepali third-genders

Attraction: To mark this year's International Day against Homophobia and Transphobia, 25 third-genders from across Nepal will participate in the event, with the pageant theme being "We all are different, we all are equal".
What: B-Boy Battle

Where: Neon Pub, Mandala Street
Attraction: A b-boy battle with Everest Crew as the judges. Winner takes Rs.10,000 home.
