Thanks WAVE from B2H Events

Thank you WAVE for the support. As a kid, I was so familiar with the magazine. Never in my entire life did I imagine this and now, I am being featured on it through my talent. Phew I just can't express how happy and grateful I am at this stage.

Yeshi Dolma Lama
I am really honored to WAVE magazine for acknowledging my talent and making me a part of it. There are no words for my happiness. I just have the best wishes to the WAVE family for great success in the coming years as it has in the present.

Emails
It would be nice if WAVE could have more on music. I used to buy the magazine regularly but now, due to the lack of it, I try to avoid it. However, I can't help but be impressed with the cover. REAL WOMEN!! On top of that, they are not even photo shopped. WAVE is as real as it gets.

I was a regular reader of WAVE when I was in school. After a long interval, I picked the March issue of WAVE and must say I was quite surprised by the amount of changes that I noticed in the magazine. May be because it was a Women's Day Special, there was too much on women. I missed the articles on music. Hopefully, WAVE team works towards including music articles in the future.

Loved the cover of WAVE! I was so happy to see regular girls on the cover at a time when the market is filled with magazines displaying only skinny and airbrushed models. Being a plus sized girl myself, I could relate to the sentiments expressed by the writer in the article 'The X-Tra Sized Diva'. Stay the same WAVE.

Kriti Sotang

Being a guy, I just love all the girl talk, written by men. Honestly, WAVE is a hopeful magazine for the youth with an interesting mix of articles. I really liked "My eight hundred or so on women". However, the downside is the paper quality. Please do something about it, WAVE!

As a mother of an 18 year old girl, I highly applaud the WAVE team for such a powerful issue on women. These days, when you flip through a Nepali youth magazine, not only is there too much of fashion but atrocious English. Yes, there were a couple of errors but looking through the content, those errors were easily forgiveable. From featuring women of different backgrounds, body shapes and sizes to men trying to crack women (that was hilarious) and 'Unequal Spaces', if today's youth all read WAVE, I have hope for our future.

On Valentine's Day, Himalayan TV along with Gaushala Police conducted a raid on hotels to catch love birds in action. The news report showed couples being questioned by police officials, hotel owners being asked to show their guests list and the investigation continued with deep analysis of the contents found in dustbins.  Naturally, the couples looked embarrassed by the sudden intrusion. There was a lot of shock, and outrage at WAVE's office when we saw this video. We decided to share it on our Facebook page and asked our readers what they thought of the video. Here are some of the comments that we received from our Facebook fans.

Deep Tumkhewa Limbu As long as they do it behind close door and that doesn't harm society, than its their right to have a sex,sex is not a crime if it take place on their mutual consent.

Ahmed Dulla What is this moral policing for ? you are born out of sex n you portray sex as dirty thing! how hypocrite can u be? let people have sex in peace atleast. If you are social being you ought to be a sexual being. In anycase these is always a heavy load shedding and shortage of petrol let there be sexual enteraiment for the public behind closed door. ITS NATURAL TO HAVE SEX GOD DAMIITT!!!! WAKE UP GET EDUCATED BABUs....

Sneha Shakya and why in earth did they have to stalk the people (in the beginning of the video) who were having a nice time in a park with their lovers?? is there anything wrong in sitting with your boyfriend/girlfriend in a park?? what's wrong with nepalese celebrating valentine's day? they're allowed to celebrate new year, christmas, they get public holiday in so many different occasions that they arent even aware of, then why not celebrate v-day with your loved ones? why do these reporters make a big deal out of nothing?? there are so many social issues in our society. why not report something about those instead of stalking lovers having a good time behind closed doors??

Subodh Shrestha Ali ramro kam garum na hooo police dai haru.... 2 premi lai kina dhuka??? Baru jasle desh luti ra ka cha muji haru ko chak ma lauro chiram na kina 2 premi haru ko bayjat garnu.....

Samip Dhungel This is like one of those stunts celebrities pull off to get media coverage, make sex a big issue. I wonder if the home minister made love to his wife on valentine's day. If the police really cares it should be taking action against those who traffic women across the border, those who run prostitution rackets and those who exploit girls for sex.

further more it's own official who killed his wife ! What is the point of arresting lovers having sex inside a closed room ? Sex is an Integral Part of human life.

In this case not only the police administration but this new TV station itself seems to be looking for publicity ! well HTV, I aint watched your channel ever on TV but i can say without a doubt your shows suck big time. I wish some of those couple would sue the police department for encroachment of privacy, do we have any law in that matter?

Satyam Shrestha yo police haru kina eti hero? aru le j gareni afnai jindagi ho ni, why they have to interfere?love, sex k aba police haru lai sodhera garnu? kaam 6aina yini haruko.
