Here's one more reason to celebrate if you are a devoted fan of Rihanna: According to facebook Memology, Rihanna has topped the list of the most 'liked' and 'listened to' musicians on Facebook in 2011 by beating Bob Marley and Avril Lavigne. Rihanna's Calvin Harris collaboration, 'We Found Love' was the most listened to song on the social networking site while Katy Perry's 'Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)' and LMFAO's 'Sexy And I Know It' came second and third respectively

Miley's road to womanhood

When it seemed like Miley Cyrus had gone out of limelight, suddenly she appeared wearing this very revealing yellow colored gown at the CNN Heroes awards 2011 earlier this month and made people talk about her noticeably big twin assets like never before. Some even went on to speculate that she had had implants put in, to which Cyrus reacted by Tweeting , "Thank you for the compliment but these babies are all mine. I wish they'd realize you don't have to be fake to be beautiful!" She is just 19 and is on her way to become a woman. Spare her!

College Course On Jay- Z Offered At Georgetown University

Micheal Eric Dyson, a professor, author, radio host and television personality, has offered class dedicated to Jay-Z and his career at Georgetown University this semester. The course, 'Sociology of Hip Hop: Jay-Z,' may seem an unlikely offering at a Jesuit, majority-white school that counts former President Bill Clinton among its alumni but Dyson insists that his class confronts topics present in any sociology course: racial and gender identity, sexuality, capitalism and economic inequality.

The course has generated controversy as critics of Dyson believe that Jay-Z's lyrics have no place in an educational institution like Georgetown.

"It just happens to have an interesting object of engagement in Jay-Z -- and what better way to meet people where they are?" Dyson said. "It's like Jesus talking to the woman at the well. You ask for a drink of water, then you get into some theological discussions." Jay-Z's riffs do not only make for catchy rhymes but incisive and insightful social commentary as well. Who knew?

The Top Ten most 'liked' musicians on Facebook in 2011 were

1. Rihanna
2. Bob Marley
3. Avril Lavigne
4. David Guetta
5. Enrique Iglesias
6. Usher
7. Lady Gaga
8. Metallica
