I guess it's been a year or more since I stopped buying wave. I do not know why I did so, may be because I was entering my second decade on this planet I was making a point to myself about growing old.
When on one Fine December day I saw "Wave" hanging in a news-stand with a cover full of models and with bug curvy letters that read " Men's issue", something told me I ought to buy this one. Not just that, also because before I gave up reading Wave, I had been a hardcore reader of this magazine, I started reading when WAVE came in tabloid size paper, so I knew that WAVE team worked extra hard on the December Issue, as always it would be the best edition of the year. Even today when I Google my name I get a link that takes me to your web page where my email was awarded as the letter of the month. :)
Now I realize, the Wave team has changed but nevertheless, from my read I believe the magic still remains.
I loved the Edition, everything about it. I'm not just saying it for the heck of it, but I really felt younger than 22. But where has the lyrics book gone? Few of my favorite columns aren't there anymore, but no worries. Things have to change, don't they? Fewer writers, more feature topics. I, however, cannot promise I will subscribe to your magazine again because frankly I have grown out of my WAVE loving personality but what I assure is next time I see a nice cover staring at me from the news-stands, I won't hesitate about taking it home, just for the sake of nostalgia !

Comment: Dear Sumati, Thanks for this article. Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao will be in Nepal around Dec 19. If there was ever a time when Nepali supporters could lend Tibetans a hand this is it. We have heard that Nepali police have been rounding up and arresting Tibetan activists before the Premiers visit. Lets act now. TJ

In December's issue, we regret the mistake we made in Asmita G. Upreti's last name.
