'Why aren't we safe' was an article that I really connected with. Whenever I get late returning home from work or parties, there is always this fear that I won't reach home safe and sound. I always wonder how it is much easier for men and they can afford to return at odd hours. Only, if the streets of Kathmandu become safer, can we women become truly independent.

TINA RAI

The feature story 'Why aren't we safe' strikes a chord with most women in Nepal. I don't know of a single woman who hasn't, at some point in her life, been victimized by some form of harassment on the streets. It is good to know that the magazine takes up such issues. I hope you continue to give prominence to many more such issues in the coming months.

JENISHA SHRESTHA

The September issue was more like the 'fab' issue. I loved every page especially the Style Spread. The only letdown was how little there was on fashion. I also enjoyed reading the Rage features and was completely impressed by the guts WAVE has to produce such stories; people think about but never bring up. Congratulations to the WAVE team for churning out yet another fantastic issue.

NISHIMA LAMA

September cover girl Cai Yun is beautiful. Thanks to the unique hairstyle and great photography, this has to be one of the best covers of WAVE. WAVE is such an amazing magazine with such a great history but it is good to see it growing every time.

SUMINA KHANAL

I was thrilled to discover that WAVE had profiled Kushal Timilsina this month. I am very much into
adventure sports and I have already done rock climbing and canyoning. But people hardly know anything about it and very few people actually try adventure sports in Nepal. So after reading
Kushal's interview,I am so inspired to take up adventure sports professionally.

SAGAR GYAWALI

The photo feature titled 'Rock Glam' looked very refreshingly glamorous. I loved the clothes
put on by all the models but my favourites are the long black gown and printed tights. I so am
buying them this Dashain.

TIA TULACHAN

The article on the punk music scenario of Nepal was a great read. It is good to see that WAVE has continued covering stories on punk music and I hope to read such articles more often. WAVE rocks!

SAMRAT SHRESTHA, DHARAN

Wave's cover girl in the September issue was beautiful and it was interesting learning about her. Her experiences in so many places at such a young age have inspired me to explore my own country and if the resources allow I'd love to travel across borders too. Looking forward to read more about
individuals like Iris.

BIVECHAN KHATRI, BUTWAL

The focus on domestic violence and suicide cases in the last issue really proved that WAVE is not only a fun magazine to read but also a mature and informative one as well. Kudos to the WAVE team for always providing a creative and unique edge to the magazine!
