EDITORIAL
We also have Gyno Woes on the trials and tribulations faced by unmarried young women on a visit to the gynaecologist, Back for Good on why our writer knows there is no place like home, and a tongue-in-cheek piece from our regular columnist Pranay Tenga Rai called, ahem, Penetration. Nepalis are known as 'sukul gundas', we are fashionable lot. We are not talking about just our home-bred celebs or Durbar Marg fashionistas here...but the regular men and women who adapt trends and styles to create something that is totally Nepali and yet carry it off with great aplomb and a certain je ne sais quoi. And it is these regular Janes and Joes we salute in Street Style. With this issue WAVE also celebrates its 17th anniversary. Time sure flies when we are having fun, and to commemorate this occasion we asked our 'oldies', writers and editors who had worked at WAVE at some point or the other, to write in to us so hear from Shitu, Abha, Pravat, Ngawang and Adheep and enjoy revisiting old friends that you might have missed hearing from. And now as a young 17 year old magazine undergoing a metamorphosis, poised to become a more mature, open and diverse one, we can only hope you will continue to give us the biggest compliment a magazine can ever have: by reading us. You are our most precious possession. Keep fit, and keep writing in to us. The WAVE Team | ||||||||||||||||||||
