Wave of sex

If you have been reading the last few issues of Wave, you might have noticed a difference! We have been talking tattoos, pubic hair and adventure sports and in a further attempt to break the Wave stereotype of being a teeny-bopper magazine, this month we are talking about Sex. Most of the times, when we ask mid 20 year old Nepalis if they read Wave, we get the same reaction "pahila padhthe!"

Little do people know that Wave has matured along with its reader base. So what better way to make that point than by talking about all things related to Sex, although we take no blame for raising the already high temperatures of June.

In this issue, we are covering how gender roles are increasingly blurred today and more so in fashion with the likes of Andrej Pejic becoming household names. In 'The Male Pursuit of Sex', Nabin Tuladhar defends the alpha male's behavior, whereas in 'Boob Talk', our anonymous contributor asks men to stop talking to the bosom.

Touching another very important point of sex is Adele Penn, who calls for action against child sexual abuse. Our regular contributors- Pranay Tenga Rai writes a tongue-in-cheek piece about the rise of HIV/AIDS, Trisha Rai boldly and provocatively states that women too like to have sex while Sam Voolstra reveals that deep breathing and a clear mind are aids to better lovemaking.

Let's take off our masks and be more open to talking about what is only natural, and certainly most enjoyable, to human beings.

Play Safe.
Wave Team.
