How do you choose the names for your characters? What is the most hurtful thing people have said to you? What is the strangest thing you have done while researching a book? Which five people would you invite to your dream dinner party? If you were deserted on an island, which book would you like to have with you? Which fictional character do you resemble? Who do you write for: you or your readers? 
I write because the story begs to be told. I don't think about myself or the readers.
Sometimes I take them from myths, sometimes newspapers. I make the ones who've cheated on me and hurt me the villains. I leave out the people I love.
I can't remember now, so they can't have been that hurtful.
I took an acting class in graduate school. Strangely enough, it helped me get into the minds of the characters, much faster than taking a class on how to write fiction.

Cricketing star Sachin Tendulkar will enjoy a unique tribute by a luxury book publisher which is bringing out a special edition new biography of the batsman with pages made from his blood. Weighing 37 kilos, this 852 gold leaf edged blood edition will reveal some of Tendulkar's unpublished family pictures, career thoughts and DNA profile.
