Bansewor celebrated the World Environment Day with a green street festival and a concert on 5 June. The event kicked off with Nepsydaz followed by B-boying from a local youth group. The Uglyz, Adrian Pradhan, Robin and the New Revolution and other local bands were amongst the others performing. Entry to the event venue was free and prizes were given out to the winners of a documentary competition held the week before. Various stalls of private companies selling organic products and organisations working for green solutions were on offer. The event was a Frequency Events initiative.
