Jindabaad!!!, HMP and Lochan rock New Road

Rising art-rock band Jindabaad!!! along with Hari Maharjan Project and Lochan Rijal performed at a street concert in New Road on 6 June. Jindabaad!!! opened the concert and played their YouTube hits Rewind, Shades of You, Preset and Racist to an unsuspecting crowd and ended their set with a blazing version of instrumental song Electronic. Having released their debut album only a month ago, Hari Maharjan Project took the stage and enthralled the crowd with their instrumental songs, an innovative mix of gypsy, blues, folk and rock. Lochan Rijal, armed with a sarangi and backed by Hari Maharjan on guitar, performed next in the concert. With imminent rainfall looking to force the open concert to halt prematurely, Lochan sang his eccentric yet soulfully composed folk-pop songs. The concert did halt prematurely though because of a power cut.
