Over-cautious!
I don't think politics is something to hate about (Young Ideas, June 2010). What abhors me is our involvement in politics so early. We are so into politics that we individually know politics better than anyone. We disregard any other individual's political inclination for our own. And of course, the media should be controlled. The authority is bland and is not functional, law and order is in jeopardy. What do we expect from the current system? Before democracy, we were under-cautious and now we are
over-cautious. Should we start considering this as a part of our 'New Nepal' campaign? A campaign which is pushing us backwards?

Not Covered
In your last issue, the article on various career options (Career, June 2010) left me in confusion. Food Technology, a popular subject, has not been written about whereas smaller subject of smaller coverage like Nutritionist is.  Food Technology is actually a broader term which has many sub-fields under it.  This subject is quite a popular choice among people nowadays. A lot of colleges in the Valley as well as other parts of the country are offering the courses. I myself being a Food technology (B.Tech Food) student was dismayed by the fact that my course of study has not been paid much attention to. I will always look forward to WAVE for that in upcoming issues. Having said that, all the best for WAVE and its future issues. You are doing a great job!

Nepali Cinema
It's said that Nepali cinema is not technologically well-equipped, but what actually matters is new ideas (Editorial, June 2010). I would go watch an original Nepali movie even if it's black and white. Be genuine, don't copy.

I like the cover of the June issue. Shreejana is so pretty and the green theme works well. But why are only girls featured on the cover. Aren't there any good looking guys around?
