8 reasons why a bandh is good for WAVE

1. We can blame WAVE being late on the bandh. 2. A bandh gives us more time to compose and design our pages (see this issue if you don't believe us, have you ever seen such variety?) 3. A story on bandh is timeless, so it fits anywhere from editorial to a feature to Politically Correct to even Oasis! 4. A 12-hour load shedding on a bandh day will hopefully compel our readers to actually read WAVE, not just flip through it. 5. Bandhs are almost a prerequisite for us to be productive. The office is more tranquil, there are unlimited computers to work on. And we can play our music to the loudest. 6. Another topic for discussion at chiya time: Why maoists are good, why maoists are bad. 7. We have the entire internet bandwidth at our disposal. YouTube loads faster, pictures download quicker. 8. Since all of us are on a year-off from college, a bandh adds some excitement to life. Oh, the thrill of going to work with PRESS plastered on our bikes.
Love this editorial! And way to go having only 8 reasons. People generally go with 3, 5, 7 or 10 when they make such lists, but the editor seems to have thrown such silly traditions to the wind and stuck with what felt right. If there are 8 reasons, then there damn well will be 8 on the list, no cutting down to make it 7 or adding fluff to make it 10. Good for you! This is what it's all about!! I hope to see more editorials as awesome as this in the future! Love, fan!!
nice way of saying that bandhas are harmful in a more polite form..............anybody can blame the authority but this one is best way of expressing one's anger.......
