Load-shedding and Naya Nepal
On 6 February, The Rotaract Club (Kasthamandap and Chandragiri) organised an art competition, based on the theme 'Load-shedding and Naya Nepal', thought up by sponsor Hydro Solution, a hydro power company. There were 40 participants from different schools and colleges. Shristi Tamrakar of Little Angles' School impressed the judges by presenting innovative ideas in her sketch and was declared the winner of this competition. Because students are the most affected victims of load-shedding, they seemed to express their problems with load-shedding and expectations from Naya Nepal in their art pieces with remarkable ease. The ten best sketches will be presented in an exhibition.
