The nine volunteers from Nepal who had travelled to Preston, UK on 22 October, 2009 returned on 16 January, 2010 along with nine other volunteers from UK. The British Council, Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO) and the National Federation for Deaf and Hard of Hearing (NFDH) had launched the program last year to help strengthen the understanding and trust between the people of UK and Nepal. The volunteers from UK will be staying in Kathmandu for three months now, living in the host homes and working in different placements in various organisations.
