Female Forefront
Good to see Namrata Shreshta in the list (The Fresh List, issue 169). Hats off to her spunk and to WAVE for her inclusion. Interestingly, there are more women in the list than men. Thumbs up to the young, independent and vocal Nepali woman.

No mention at all of Namrata's little 'error' as she calls it? Pretending nothing has happened does not make it go away, acceptance and a head up is better. Her own reaction was braver than WAVE's.

Pranaya, SLC

It is the kind of reaction, like that of Pranaya, that Nepali tabloids make money. Everyone has sex, and it's their private lives. The more you talk about it, the bigger you're making the issue. Make love dude, not scandals!

Avatar : Not Silly !
I know it is 'cool' to be different, and negatively critique a movie that everyone is raving about, but at least provide us with convincing arguments to back your claim. (Avatar: Silly Fun, issue 169) This movie wasn't supposed to be an original story (look up Cameron's interviews), but an age-old recurring Hollywood theme presented in an innovative way. The movie delivers! It's a visual treat, a delight, an experience, a fantasy world brought to life. When you go to watch the movie, free your mind, relax and let the 3D world of Pandora take you in. Some movies, you don't think about too much, because then, you miss the point.

Nirakar, Florida

Nothing can change the fact that the story is not worthwhile. Higher grossing movies does not always equal to quality cinema. Even a fair, good looking vampire with a golden heart can earn millions at the box office, story or not.
