Whatever happens happens for the best.

A close associate of mine told me this when 2008 was approaching an end and I strongly believed that. I, being the way I am, like my stuff planned out in the calendar and I expect it to go that way but it was all in vain; whatever I expected to happen never did. I followed what I was told and 2009 saw a lot of twists and turns but I stuck to it and now, I can say, I definitely am a happier person. You do need an objective but it doesn't need to be strictly followed. You need the courage to go ahead and accept the facts.

So much has happened since I left school and with each New Year I am reminded that I am growing old. I wish I was born in a leap year. I would be oh so young! :) But I guess everyone gets paranoid about their age (and putting on weight). Once you cross your teen-age years, your time starts flying and all you'll remember is your birthday's coming too fast and the years ending again. Such is life.

It just feels like we took out the January 2009 issue but 2010 is here and after much hustle and bustle at work, we are here with our first issue of the year. Read about the bevy of fresh talents (pg 20-27) who are bringing on a wave of change, 30 Things to look forward to in 2010 and a bike story, which will surely help you decide what bike to buy, if you're looking forward to purchasing one or even exchaging one.

Here's WAVE team wishing all our readers and advertisers a very Happy New Year. May this year be full of surprises and don't be wishing to have been born on a leap year! :P
