Everything you wanted to know about him but didnít know who to ask
A great cook, he makes delicious choyala and gundruk ko tarkari. He loves his family and friends, nothing can come between them.
He started singing way back in the days of The Beatles, Tom Jones, The Rolling Stones and the lot. His first band was called Elegance and sold out concerts.
According to Mukti, politics was bad but now it's worse. But he has nice words for the 'advanced and friendly' youth of today (ahem!)
Watching Bollywood movies is not really his cup of tea but he doesn't mind joining his kids when they are enjoying one. He confesses that he enjoys Kadar Khan and Paresh Rawal's comedies.
Mukti's an organised person; the first thing he does after getting up in the morning is to make his to-do list for the day.
Making music is his life and he can't imagine a life without music. He'll be releasing an album sometime next year.
Since Mukti juggles life in Nepal and Spain, he has noticed how Kathmandu has changed. He feels the city has everything now but also thinks it is too crowded and polluted.
Mukti, who uses his two index fingers to type, was compelled to create his own website after a few people who promised to do so never got around to it. "Guff hanchan sabai jana, ani affai banae."
