British Council celebrated Enterprise Challenge during the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) from 16 to 20 November. Five best teams representing vocational and technical colleges from eastern, central, western and far western regions came to Kathmandu on 15 November and participated in the final national competition after taking a two-day training on 16 and 17 November. The Challenge was designed for students aged between 16-21 and aimed to encourage their enterprise capability, communication and planning skills.  Seti Mahakali Nursing Campus was successful to impress the judges by presenting their innovative idea of providing counseling service to the needy youth by creating a counseling centre. The videos of the winning teams from Central and South Asian countries will be uploaded for public viewing and voting. The one that receives the highest vote and best proposal presentation will be announced as the regional winning team in February 2010. The team will then get an opportunity to travel to UK in March 2010.
