 MIN RATNA BAJRACHARYA
After much wait Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) and Pizza Hut have finally opened in Kathmandu. With price ranging from Rs 69 to Rs 899, the newly opened outlets are expected to do well. KFC is sourcing the chicken from Brazil while the staffs at both the outlets have been trained in India. The two American food chains were brought to Kathmandu by Devyani International in partnership with NMB Bank and are located in Annapurna Complex, Durbar Marg.

12. De , London
Chickens from Brazil? Why? Aren't chickens in Nepal good enough for KFC? Companies like KFC should be eco-friendly. You know how much carbon-footprint you accumulate flying chickens from Brazil. And all that effort other countries are making to help countries like Nepal to tackle environmental issues. What a waste of Dutch Government and Copenhagen Convention!
