Nepa~laya launched the third part of A People War trilogy and opened a permanent exhibit of images of the conflict on 21 November at Yalamaya Kendra. The event also coincided with the signing of the third anniversary of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA). The third book is called People After War. All three books were edited by Kunda Dixit, Editor, Nepali Times and focuses on the civilian victims of the ten-year conflict that killed more than 15,000 Nepalis. Says Kunda Dixit: "We have found ordinary people with extraordinary stories, and they are all uplifting because they prove just how resilient and hopeful the Nepali people are about the future despite the sorrows of war that they lived through." Nepa~laya and Madan Puraskar Pustakalaya are collaborating to put the images from A People War trilogy in a permanent exhibition at Madan Puraskar Pustakalaya in Patan Dhoka. The exhibition will also have additional photographs from the conflict and be a repository for people's testimonies about the war. The stories will also travel to Itahari, Ilam, Damak, Hetauda, Kawasoti, Nepalganj and Tansen from 23 November to 12 December.

After watching the pictures I was really touched. The picture shows us the reality of the country.I came to know about the wars and its defects that took place few years back.It helps each one of us to know the political senairo of the country at the past and present. After watching the pictures of the people after war we feel really good to see the people being re-united with their families. We feel good to see the country marching ahead for the development.Hope to see the country progessing rapidly with peace because war is not the solution to anything.
