The British Council, Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO) and the National Federation for Deaf and Hard of Hearing (NFDH), for the first time provided an opportunity for hard of hearing communities in both Nepal and the UK through Global Xchange on 9 October. Nine deaf youth volunteers from Nepal and UK all aged from 18-25 years, will live with host families and work in local organizations in host communities for three months in each country. The main aim of this programme is to promote intercultural dialogue through meaningful two-way dialogue and build active networks that did not exist before.
