All of thirty-two years Gagan Thapa likes to describe himself as an honest man. 
Second among four siblings, his fondest childhood memory is of being beaten up along with his other two brothers by his eldest brother with home-made boxing gloves. But he got a beating himself in the evening when his parents saw what he had done to them.
Worked as an RJ for six years in various FM stations of the capital and was awarded the Best Commentator Award for his commentary at the 1999 South Asian Games.
The unnamed narrator of Gao Xingjian book One Man's Bible is his favourite fictional character. In it, the young character travels the length and breath of China reliving the memories he had of the place and coming to terms with the reality and the future. He associates himself to it very well.
He'd invite Barack Obama, Nelson Mandela, Amitabh Bacchhan, Noam Chomsky and Priety Zinta to his fantasy dinner party and thinks the conversation would be very interesting.
For his last meal he'd love to gorge on Choyela Chiura.
Thinks Nepali youth today are confident, ambitious, capable, team players and very flexible but on the other hand easily saddened and pessimistic about possible changes in society.
Met his wife through an accidental text that he received from her during the Janandolan. The back and forth texting and flirting grew into love after countless dates at Courtyard Restaurant over the years. Technology still plays a huge part in their relationship as she is in Scotland for her further studies.
In terms of fashion, he hates the combination of tapered pants and pointy shoes especially on boys.
The first thing he thinks about when he wakes up is what he's going to do for the day.
Is very shy when paid excessive compliments to his face and is proud of being able to mobilise a large number of youth during the April Uprising.
Loves watching movies in theatres and the last movie he saw was Ghajani (denies the movie as an inspiration behind the look he sports right now.)
"Change" is his current favourite word because he thinks no other country is as hungry for change as Nepal is at the moment.

I think you are a leader suited for revolution. Your fiery speeches, oraganizational skills, your ability to mobilize young people all attest to that idea. But, I don't think people needs another revolution. We should be aiming for reform, not one revolution after another.

Gaganji,it was me who studied along with u when u were in trichandra college.i had the great opportunity in free student union election to uphold u which finally turned u upto the position u are now.though we r not in regular contact and communication u know me well when u see me.
