The cold winter was only melting away in mid-march when the weather turned moody, with hot mornings and wet, cool afternoons. Keeping in mind the changing season and the oncoming wet weather, we have prepared for you a list of must-haves for this season.

Umbrella

It's that of the year when its always smart to carry an umbrella no matter how the weather may appear. For a change, you could do away with the old fashioned black, boring umbrella. Take up bright colours like yellow, purple, light blue and so on. If you're a guy and thinking, which colour you should take up, then yellow, green and blue would do wonders for you on a gloomy day. As for raincoats, if you can't get them in bright colours, you might event want to try for a transparent one. Safety wise, it's also easier to notice brighter colours in the rain and the dark. Style and safety in one go!

Waterproof bags

Ladies and Gentlemen, it's best if you kept your cotton, jute and Thamel bags for when it's really safe to take them out. Right now don those stylish synthetic bags that can withstand the rain and the sun on the same day. Leather bags are great but they do feel a bit too precious to put through all that torture.

Flip-flops

They are definitely en vogue. Come rain or shine, you'll be prepared if you stay cool with flip-flops/ slippers. They come in all colours and styles, so it shouldn't be too difficult to find one that compliments your fashion statement. They come cheap, colourful and trendy, plus they are comfortable. What more do you want?

Hats and Sunglasses
Hats and caps are cool if you have the guts to wear them but it's not really a must – that's why it's the true 'accessory.' If you think you can carry them off then don't think twice. But put them away if you're not comfortable, because the

discomfort will show on your face. It's the same with sunglasses but they're more of a fashion must these days, not only because they make you look oh-so-cool but also because they protect your eyes from all that is blowing in the wind. Sunglasses are also one of the most flexible fashion accessories since they are available in the classy Jacky O style to the Tom Cruise aviator glasses, the minimalist Gandhi goggles and dozens of other styles. Just be sure to choose a style that compliments your face.

Jewellery

Less is more. It's getting hot and wet all at once, so rings, bangles and necklaces are better left at home. But if you're the kind who feels incomplete without jewellery, then its time you realised that less is more. Jewellery is always beautiful when it's kept to the minimum – too much makes it lose its charm. If you are wearing one big piece, then never ever wear another one that's just as big or ornate. For example, if you are wearing chunky earrings then leave that gorgeous big beaded necklace at home and vice versa.

Well, there you have it, the must-have accessories for this season. If you don't have them I strongly advise you to go out and get them. If it suits you, then they can make you look smart, simple and at the same time elegant. Hope they help you remain fashionable and chic this season, while keeping dry and warm.
