After the success of The Pursuit of Happyness, Will Smith and his partner in crime director Gabriele Muccino is hitting the big screen once again with Seven Pounds and by the looks of it, success is inevitable. Banking on emotion, Seven Pounds has a strong story and the director's view is crystal clear. In The Pursuit of Happyness, Smith played a struggling talented man in search of a stable life whereas in Seven Pounds he takes on a totally new role of an IRS agent, Ben, bringing forward the diverse talent in him.

The movie might be a little puzzling though. Half way through the running time of the movie, you might be lost, trying to figure out what's actually going on. The story mysteriously revolves around the main character and what he's about to do. If the story was to be revealed in a simpler way, it would be distasteful. With perfect ingredients to make sure the viewer is seated through out the film, the magic woven by the director seems to have worked. After all the confusion and difficult guesses, you finally get to know what is happening in the story and where it's heading. From then on nothing will seem strange. The perfect screenplay accomplishes its main
aim – to attract people.

The movie basically revolves around Ben who feels he has done something terrible in the past and holds himself responsible for it. Whatever follows after that is what builds up the movie. Through the movie the audience is introduced to the kind of field visits Ben makes and why. Our lips are sealed because if we let out even a bit more than this we'll spoil the experience for you.

The movie definitely provides a platform for Smith to display his craft. He is nothing like the Will Smith we have known and begun to love. The funny and lovable Hitch transforms into an angry IRS agent who screams and goes ballistic at a food company's customer service representative on knowing that he is blind on the phone.

The love story weaved perfectly in the story is something you will notice vividly without even noticing. Falling in love with the IRS agent (Smith) is Emily (Rosario Dawson), a graphic artist suffering from congenital heart failure. Some might find this to be over sentimental and over-done but you will not mind watching it on the big screen. Well, you can't do anything anyway. Dawson, on the other hand, is out to prove her self that she is ready to take her place as a major screen actress.

All in all, the movie is interesting and what you can make out of it is that life is colossal and imperative. It has everything nice including sugar and spice!! Watch it and you'll know what we're talking about.
