Astha Tamang-Maskey is out with her debut album, Sabai Thikai Huncha. Produced by Rohit Shakya of The Shadows Band, the album was launched at Acoustic Friday, a monthly event organised by b&n at the Bakery Café, Pulchowk on 23 January. Backing this 19-year-old are Rizu Tuladhar of Looza on bass, Abishek Bhadra of JSC Trio on keys, Prajwol of Looza on drums and, of course, the production genius Rohit Shakya. All the singles in the album have a fresh feel to it and adding a fresher feel to it is Astha's voice. To know what we're talking about, purchase the album.
