With his heartrending poems and humor in the middle, Viplob Pratik made Acoustic Friday a night to remember for all, including him. Acoustic Friday with Viplob Pratik and Abhaya and the Steam Injuns took place on 26 December at the Bakery Café, Pulchowk. A rare and very approachable poet, the evening showed his command over both Nepali and English as he read out his poems that reflected his amazing ability to play with words. In the recent past his works have been gaining momentum and  his latest work can be heard in Abhaya and the Steam Injuns new album Nayan. Receiver of 3 awards at the Hits FM Music Awards in 2000 for his song Har Raat Sapanima sung by Deep Shrestha, Pratik found joy and happiness as he recited his poems to the crowd and got a standing ovation as he concluded his recitation. The event was organised in association with The Bakery Café and b&n.
