Nineteen year-old Astha Tamang-Maskey says she was born to be a musician. Very bubbly yet mature for her age, Astha sings of love, life and everything else that comes inbetween them in her songs. She admits of having a fetish for rings and wants to stick to her rock-pop image. With a tonal quality that is fresh and very international, she is sure to warm many hearts not just with her talent but her looks too.

Well ever since i saw you perform together with Mukti in this Newari restaurant in Lazimpat (forgot the name), i have become a fan of yours Astha ! I'm glad to learn that your album is out now and i sincerely hope that everyone has appreciated your brilliant work and bought a lot of CDs :-) I will try to get my hands on the album soon as well... Well what else can i say....i think you are the most talented person we have seen in recent times and i just wish the very best and would like to tell you NOT TO give up on the great music you are making..although in Nepal, there might be plenty of situations you will come across where you would want to give-in/give up, easily get frustrated and discouraged etc...but i am sure you will hang on there coz i believe you are built to last!
