Sudin Pokharel

Born on 23 February 1979, Sudin is very emotional by nature to an extent that he cries while watching a movie.

A typical Piscean, he fosters a dream of working for ESPN or Star Sports and is working hard on realising this dream. Is also waiting for the day to watch his songs on MTV.

Hates the fact that he can't grow a beard but is quite happy with his eyes.

Feels at home on stage and didn't feel an ounce of nervousness when facing a crowd of 6000 on his first concert ever but remembers stopping to swallow a lot when he read the news live for the first time.

Gets a lot of attention from his female fans but to his dismay made a brother by most of them on knowing his age. Takes criticism very well and is as open to them as he is to compliments.

Values friendship a lot and doesn't do anything without consulting his close friends. Though they are from the same field as him they've never had ego clashes and are equally proud of each other.

Is planning to get married next year as he can't take the family pressure anymore. And ladies hold your heart, he wants to go the traditional way by getting into an arranged marriage. His only criteria is, "she has to be pretty, of course, but also has to understand the kind of job I do and that this field requires a lot of mental work."

Believes in the saying, you are what you wear. Is quite fashionable, though, likes to create his own style. Is a very indecisive shopper who always needs second opinions.

At one point was addicted to Kasauti Jindagi Ki. "I had broken my leg and was home for a month so I did get hooked on the Hindi soaps," he reveals.

Is very good at caricatures and can imitate Shahrukh Khan, Satrugan Sinha and Mithun very well. Has recently acted in a HIV/AIDS awareness short film titled Sonam directed by his good pal Asif Shah.

Was approached for the role of Suraj (eventually played by Vinay Shrestha) in Sano Sansaar but declined it. But definitely sees himself acting in a movie in the future.

Is deeply touched that his parents are proud of him. My father says, "There use to be a time when you were known as Pokharel sir's son but now people know me as Sudin's father."
