It's just inhuman for children to let go of their parents when they are old and when they need them the most. Parents who loved, fed, educated and gave their child everything they ever wanted, but some just let them go in a second. Making a difference every year at the Pashupati Bridha Ashram is Rotaract Club of Himalaya Patan, which organises Hamro Dashain on the day of Phulpati to celebrate the festival with the senior citizens, who offer tika to everyone. "It's just not fair for the people living here as the government and the concerned officials are not doing much. With our small effort, we try and bring a smile. However, we do realise that doing this just once a year is not enough," said Rtr. David Shakya of the Rotaract Club of Himalaya Patan.
