International Music day at Pokhara

Pokhara has been keeping the tradition of International Music Day celebrations alive for the past six years and this year was no exception. On 21 June, Pokhara Sangeetik Kalakar Sangh organised an event with support from the Pokhareli Yuva Sanskritik Pariwar, Sangeet Prasichan Kendra, Himali Sanskritik Pariwar, Jhighu Bhaya Jhighu Sanskriti Pucha, Rastriya Lok Tatha Dohori Geet Pratisthan and Saptarangi Pratisthan, Pokhara. Senior artists like Sharbhagyaman Pradhananga and Ram Kaji Gurung performed at the event. The audience was treated to sounds of the madal to drums, and sarangi to electric guitars.
