Diehard fan! Hi this is Sanu from Sydney, Australia. I'd like to request WAVE to put pictures and information about Swapnil Sharma from the Shadows, because I'm a diehard fan. I hope you don't disappoint me. Sanu, Sydney, Youth-friendly WAVE! WAVE is the only English magazine in Nepal which advocates the voices and the choices of young school or college-going students through its monthly issues. I'd like to thank the WAVE team for its youth-friendly contents and for putting in something special in each issue. WAVE should also include stuff that enables the young to face challenges in career-building, such as skills for interviewing, choosing careers, taking exams, etc. Pujan Neupane, Give more space to literature WAVE contains lots of information about fashion, travel, music and movies, people and literature. That's what I love about WAVE. The June issue featured a very serious cover story. Your staff writer Pranaya writes too many articles, although his writing is very good. A magazine mustn't only be readable but should also be collectible. Emphasizing on light write-ups will make WAVE use and throw. So I suggest that you give more space to literature – maybe more essays and some short stories. Sanjaya Ghimire, Aspiring to be a Male Model I'm a regular subscriber of WAVE and I love it. It's one of the most popular magazines in Nepal and it also speaks the minds of the youth. I'm a young male and I'm really interested in modelling. As there aren't many opportunities for male models in Nepal, I want you to provide a platform in WAVE magazine if I am capable. Akash Shrestha More on Sports Thank you for the poster of Champions League Winner Manchester United, which is my favourite soccer club. I can't understand why most of the Nepali print media don't focus on sports, apart from a couple of Sports columns (that too only some special events like the Olympics and the World Cup and the Euro-Cup). It's time we started to think seriously about sports and get updated regularly. There are lots of people who seek assistance from the Nepali media for their resources but we have very few resources at present. It could have helped encourage lots of aspiring sports-people and enthusiasts, and maybe, we'd take a step towards qualifying for the World Cup. WAVE's created enthusiasm for sport like for the last World Cup and this Euro but I'd like to see much more coverage, on both domestic and international sport. We would be really grateful. I'd also like to request WAVE to regularise old sections like Top Ten songs, Date with Stars and Pushkar's Cycle Diaries. Binay Lamichhane, Restore the subscription cool access card Its really delightful to able to still see WAVE make it to my doorstep ever since my brother subscribed to the magazine ten years ago. The existence of WAVE came to my attention only after my brother started subscribing. I am so engrossed in WAVE that even in my schooldays in Darjeeling, I had subscribed to it at a stationary store. WAVE has seen a tsunami of appreciable changes ever since, but there's one thing I wished WAVE had never quit on. I'd like see the subscription cool access card, which my brother used to proudly flaunt in his days, restored again. It was a worthy beneficiary privilege to WAVE readers offering discounts at various outlets and I have always envied such a possession. I hope you are listening, WAVE and I wish you unlimited years of successful publishing. Ayush Dhaubanjar Don't make Mega Model Offensive This is in regard to the new show being aired on Image Television, the Active Mega Model (the Nepali version of Get Gorgeous on Channel V) for which WAVE is the official media partner. So far, the show has been good but with the overwhelming trend of following foreign television shows, I'd like to make everyone aware of its negative effects. Since the Mega Model is 'inspired' from Get Gorgeous, there is every probability for there to follow 'girl wars' and 'bitchyness'. Get Gorgeous is a popular show but the offensive language used is disturbing to the audience. It would be really nice if the initiative by Image Channel and WAVE ends in indeed a Mega Model, but of course only if it does that without polluting the Nepali society and without being offensive. Swosti WAVE in our Republic I am very glad to see Sabin Rai in WAVE's first Republican issue. The last issue was marvelous. WAVE is the favourite magazine of youth like us. We readers hope that it will give international flavor to Nepali cuisine, and work to preserve and promote it. Happy federal republic to all WAVE members! Nischal Gyawali, Handsome men on the cover The WAVE team is really generous because they do what the people say and what the people want. Readers have asked WAVE for a cover page with handsome and gentle men, many times. Samir Maharjan. WINNER More on Sports Binay Lamichhane, Write to: wave[at]himalmedia.com

Cool Magazine! Contents have great depth on numerous subjects! Most of the sections are quite relevant to a wide sphere of Nepali audiences. I suggest that most of the sectional contents be updated and photos of the authors be published to enhance connection to the audience. Also participation from the readers should be encouraged. What's cool for Nepali teens? Entertainment, tech gears, Nepali on the scope, etc. Kudos to your magazine! Posted on:
