ECAP Photography Workshop
[April 20 to 24]

Get the tips and turns from some of the best Nepali photographers of today in a workshop organized by Wildlife Conservation Nepal. Only limited number or participants will be accepted. In January, the organization had also held a successful amateur 'backyard photography' contest with nature as its theme.

Music Video Launched:

20-year-old Shivaraj Gurung has been in the Nepali music industry for four years, but has finally come into the limelight through his new album titled Gantabya, which features rock, pop and local pop songs. Following the footsteps of other successful pop singers of Dharan, such as, Sabin Rai, Prakash Paudel and Naren Rai [Aastha], Gurung has also recorded his music video in Dharan itself. Though Shivaraj Gurung's album was released four months ago, his new video Eh Suna was launched recently in Dharan. The video is directed by Santosh Shrestha and it's graphics by Binod Shreshta.

Sober Sunday:

The Big Picture and Himalayan Java organized Sober Sunday, an unplugged musical event, featuring the band Brothers-in-law on Easter night at Himalayan Java. The
non-alcoholic event saw a good number of audiences even though the front man Adrian Pradhan couldn't be there. Pop singer Yogeshwor Amatya performed his unreleased song about the country's present political situation and Uglyz', a new pop-rock band also performed some of their originals.
