Successful as a singer and an actor, Babu Bogati celebrates his birthday on 24 November but doesn't like to mention his age.

Born in Kotdanda, Bhojpur he did his schooling from Letang Secondary School and passed his 12 from Lalit Kala Campus in Music.
 
Was passionate about singing from a very young age. Did his first solo act as a singer in the annual day while in class 8. Gave his first concert in Pulchowk, Patan in 2057 B.S. Decided he could act when he agreed to model in Kumar Kanchaji's song Maile Khojhe Ko Saihli.

Loves to pass his time singing, playing the guitar, listening to songs or simply playing football with his friends. He showed his talent at the first WAVE Kickoff in 2006. His favourite hangouts are the Mahendra Club in Putalisadak and Fadani, Letang.

Has been to different countries but says there is no place more beautiful than Nepal. Also says that travelling has made him realise how much he truly loves and misses his country, mainly his parents and the simple yet delicious dal, bhat, tarkari.

Learnt to play the guitar when he was just 16 from his fellow students and was formally taught the tabla, harmonium as well as guitar during his school years in Lalit Kala Campus.

Considers his concert in Surunga, Jhapa in 2061 B.S., the most memorable and unforgettable moment of his life. That was the day he felt he had truly made his mark in the music industry. In that day he had to sing at least 3 encores and give autographs to his fans for at least 7-8 hours without a break.

White, blue and brown are his favourite colours.

Loves to spend his time in front of the television as much as he loves being on television itself. Loves watching romantic movies. Sampati and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam are some of his favourite movies and Aamir Khan and Sushmita Sen are his favourite actors.

Would have become a business man and headed a studio or production house had he not been a singer or an actor.

Believes that he could not do anything that was not related to the entertainment field no matter how unsuccessful it was.

In 10-15 years, he sees himself as a father to at least two children and the owner of a production house or a music studio.

Does not have a pet due to his hectic schedule but would want a dog if he had the time to take care of it and spend time with it.
