Your ticket to ride might be just a form away. No more neighbours complaining about bad music, no more friends being cynical about what you can do. Now, lay to rest all those complaints and comments and take the ultimate test of your musical talents. Are you ready?

Here's an opportunity for the country's musicians to showcase their stuff. For eighteen year olds and above, Sprite has formed the 'Band Challenge' competition, which is like the Nepali Tara of rock bands. The rules of the competition are simple, if you're a talented musician, and have four other talented friends, form a band, come to the audition and rock the three well-known judges Robin Tamang, Dev Rana, and Abhaya Subba away. Not only is this the chance to appear on Kantipur Television and meet all sorts of exciting people, the prizes also include 1,00,000 rupees to support the band and the chance to make a music video.  The focus in this competition is on popular Nepali songs and self-compositions. At the latter stages, (after the audition and pre-audition round when only six bands remain), the audience will get to vote to select the band that they like the most.
