Groovy sounds

Laser lights, great sound system, and top singers and musicians performing their best. That was what Sounds of String, sponsored by Tuborg Beer and organised by Little Star on 16 September at Soaltee Crowne Plaza was all about. Yogeshwor Amatya, Nhyoo Bajracharya, Saroj Dutta, Jems Pradhan, Sheetal and Shubani Moktan, Rashmi Singh, Pradeep Joshi and Durga Rai performed hit originals as well as English and Hindi cover songs. Little Star Band as a back-up band performed really well, even dishing out some Joe Satriani numbers. Raju Gurung and the Equinox gave the show a smooth groovy end. The event was followed by a DJ Session with War of the DJs 2005 winner, DJ B-Man.
