WAVE Mister & Miss University Nepal 2007 Contestants
WAVE magazine, in association with World-Carp Nepal, presents the twenty-four finalist of the WAVE Mister & Miss University Nepal 2007. Scheduled to be held on 15 June, two of these young students will go on to represent Nepal in the international event in Korea coming July. Here is what they have to say about themselves. Hemant Kumar Rauniyar, 22 College: Ayurvedic Campus A student of Ayurvedic medicine and surgery, Hemant plans to establish a holistic hospital in the future. Prabhat Shrestha, 24 College: Shankardev Campus A biker by hobby, Prabhat is a very athletic individual with interests in boxing and cricketing. Sulakshyan Bharati, 21 College: Tri-Chandra College A writer at heart, He enjoys reading. Sulkanshyan aims to be a successful actor in the future. Gaurav Khatiwada, 19 College: Tribhuwan University Acting is Gaurav's passion. Gaurav's aim is to become a representative of the country. He works in an orphanage. Nimesh Pradhan, 20 College: Prime College Nimesh's hobbies are music and playing the guitar. Nimesh looks up to John Abraham and aims to be a model. Amrit Pariyar, 21 College: Prime College This fair lad from Bandipur enjoys listening to music. He aims to be a successful business executive. Sauram Raj Tuladhar, 19 College: Caspian Valley College "Sky is the limit," he writes. His 'boisterous attitude' and equally matching personality will surely allow him to make a mark. Anuj Thapa, 20 College: Sagarmatha Multiple College An ardent fan of epic Muna Madan by Laxmi Prasad Devkota, Anuj aims to be a successful media personality someday. Biswas KC, 18 College: Thaames International College 'A single person can make a difference' is Biswas's motto. He takes public speaking as his strength and writes poetry. David Shakya, 20 College: Thaames International College Always eager to learn more, David pins it like this, "Your attitude determines your altitude in life." Bikram Singh Basnet, 18 College: St. Xavier's College Bikram believes in hard work and persistent efforts. An ever learner, he plans to either join the army or be a pilot. Hembung Rai, 20 College: International School of Tourism This young entrepreneur at heart wants to start his own company someday. He loves shooting hoops and watching movies. ANUP PRAKASH | Esha Bajracharya, 18 College: Campion College Esha is full of dreams with the determination to make them true. She aims to be a fashion designer and enjoys bowling and swimming. Akriti Shrestha, 19 College: Symbiosis College of Art and Management Akriti mentions mimicry as her hobbies. Akriti believes that God favours those give their best. Arpana Singh, 18 College: Public Youth College Arpana enjoys a great conversation and visiting new places. She aims to be an airhostess in the future. Susmita Tamrakar, 21 College: M.M.A. Multiple Campus Susmita aspires to be 'true to herself' in everything she does. She sees herself working for social causes down in her career. Durga Thapa Magar, 19 College: Thames International College Durga loves learning new things and respects the lady author Parijat. Durga believes that success is certain until one keeps struggling. Isha Shrestha, 18 College: Prime College Isha loves facing challenges. She loves dancing and modelling and hopes to work in the media field in the future. Jaya Kasthakar, 17 College: Kantipur Valley College A bold, energetic girl with teeming self confidence, Jaya believes in hard work and remaining true to oneself. Swekshya Adhikari, 16 College: Orient College Confident and intelligent, Swekchya loves dramas by Shakespeare. A competent Public speaker, Swekchya idolizes Opera Winfrey Pragya Manandhar, 20 College: Nagarjuna College A trained beautician and an ace dancer, Pragya wants to introduce herself as 'indigenous girl with tackling mind.' Ramila Shrestha, 19 College: National Institute of Technical Science This aspiring young lady aims to be a doctor and 'to serve the people'. In her free time she unwinds by reading books and traveling. Samiksha Bhattarai, 22 College: ED-Mark Academy She is a 'workaholic' and respects all those who respect life'. A lady with many hobbies, Samiksha aims to be a nurse. Roshana Karki, 19 College: Columbus Higher Secondary School Roshana idoliozes Mother Teresa and wants to contribute in health and education sector of the country.
