A two-day national seminar on 'Transition and Peace Building in Nepal: Opportunities and Challenges' was held on 4-5 June, 2007 at St. Xavier's College of Social Work. Topics like Youth and Transition; Women, Children, and Transition; Education and Transition were discussed during the seminar. The seminar was participated by students, teachers, and people from different ngos. The objective of the seminar was to identify and discuss the opportunities and challenges that come up with the ongoing transition and peace building efforts and explore how young students could play a vital role in the whole process.
