In memory of Late Father Watrin of the Godavari Alumni Assocation [GAA] , the GAA organized the 4th Father Watrin Men's Basketball Championship starting June 2. Altogether 16 teams including those from colleges and clubs played in the league cum knockout tournament with the Himalayan White House and the Bishalnagar Yuba Club emerging as the  finalists. The Himalayan White House defeated the Bishalnagar Yuba Club 48 to 40 in the final match on the 14th at the Lincoln School premises.  Rupak Gurung of Bishalnagar Yuba Club was named Most Valuable Player.
