This month, the magazine lived with two different covers for a day before the final selection was made. Despite the change in the look, the theme and concept remains the same- portrayal of Nepal's motorbike culture across generations of riders. The three motorbikes represent three distinct categories of popular motorcycles in Nepal. Takeshi Okawara [left] is riding his classic 1968 Triumph TigerCub 200. Rocker Robin Tamang [center] is riding his Hero Honda Karizma 250. Pasang Sherpa (right), who loves to try out stunts, is riding his customized 1985 Honda XLR 250.

The Triumph TigerCub 200 is a vintage street bike, adored worldwide and considered a prized asset by all its owners. This brand's legacy is quite unlike any other. The strong off-road bike Honda XLR 250 is ideal for the varieties of Nepal's terrains. Hero Honda Karizma 250 has been very popular with the urban youth. Stylish and powerful, this bike is the most attractive super machine in the market now.

More than a hundred thousand bikes plow through Kathmandu's streets alone. There has also been a drastic increase in the number of bikes sold in the last few years. Options of brands, models and bike traits have also increased proportionately. We hope you enjoy this motorbike special on WAVE.
