The Global Xchange (GX) program started in Nepal in September, 2007, and for the next six months a total of eighteen 18 to 25-year olds from Nepal and England worked together to promote the theme 'Social Inclusion and Peace'. For the past three months, they were in Kabhre where they engaged and stayed with the local community. The program, implemented by Volunteer Services Overseas and the British Council, and partnered by AASMAN Nepal, was the first of its kind in Nepal. It is a promising step in Nepal's position into global diversity.
