FROM ISSUE # 147 (March 2008) | IN THIS ISSUE
REFER TO FRIEND PRINT THIS ARTICLE

I haven't been a regular WAVE subscriber for very long and now I regret not starting sooner. As a student of the arts, I find every issue interesting and worth reading. The best part about it is the amalgam of young ideas from young people's perspectives. What I would like to see in WAVE is more write-ups on personality building and succeeding in interviews. Keep up your hard work.

I'm a regular reader of WAVE and call myself a Waveian. Among the various sections of the magazine, I find Young Ideas the most interesting. I applaud WAVE for this wonderful initiation. One thing that pinches me though, is why WAVE always selects participants from sophisticated and urban society. Why not some youngsters from rural parts of the country?

Nischal Poudyal,
Kumarigal

As February was the month of love, WAVE made me feel even more romantic. "Across The Distance" and "Tinsel Queens And Kings" was enlightening and invigorating. Also was happy to see the tribute to the late Heath Ledger. All the other sections of the February issue were also fantastic. WAVE simply rocks!

The February issue was dedicated to lovebirds which I appreciate. But, I'm a little disappointed as you don't really cover Nepali culture, i.e, Lhosar or Saraswati Puja. I would also like to say that love doesn't just need to be limited to two people and we don't need any special day to celebrate love. Let's make Nepal a great example and a gateway to global peace and love.

Wave is not just a great magazine for youngsters but for anyone who wants to read it. Being a regular subscriber, I would like to request for a section for budding young poets. This will encourage writes and also make WAVE more interesting. I also really like the new section you started on our himals.

I am a regular subscriber of the magazine and there is no doubt that it is a complete magazine with a variety of subject matter. It would be best if WAVE focussed more on youth issues and gave space on the cover for personalities from different fields rather than just models.

Prakash Pokhrel,

Maitidevi, Kathmandu

WAVE is one of the most popular magazines among the young. As a regular subscriber, I wait eagerly every month. I would like the WAVE team to come with some new tastes regarding current affairs in the outside world. That way, the number of reader would grow.

Nur Aalam Bangali,

Juropani Jhapa

I prefer WAVE to other youth magazines. And not just because of its long history, but because of its content. Thanks to the editor for news from every field of interest from fashion to sports to technology. I would also like to see more articles on health and safety. Best of luck.

Saroj Baral,

I am a grade nine student and I have been reading WAVE for the past one year. I have learned much and have improved my English becayse of it. It is the only magazine that covers views, news, entertainment and information. It is really at the top. Wish you all the best for your upcoming issues.

Abhisek Rana Magar,

Balkhu

Although I'm not a regular WAVE reader, I love this magazine. I liked the February issue with features on himals, Kirtipur and above all, long distance love. I am also in a long distance relationship, so it was great to read it. WAVE always has something useful for me. I would like to suggest that WAVE do a story on animal brutality. Do try to raise voice on this topic.
