Live Concert & Fashion Show
The Pokhra Center of IEC School of Art & Fashion organized the Blooming Fashion, Beauty, Food and Funfare Festival 2007 on 9 and 10 February. Also supported by WAVE the program was inaugurated by Mr. Gangadhar Parajuli, Vice Chairman of the Nepal Press Council. The program also featured musical performances by Local Pokhareli bands, Sudip Giri, Puja Rai and Bharat Sitaula. The program ended on the evening of 10 February with a fashion show at Hotel Kantipur, Lakeside. The fashion show featured 80 different designs of the students of IEC. According Babita Adhikari, the overseer of the program, 3000 visitors attended the show. "We are extremely pleased of the program's success, we shall be continuing the event in the days to come," stated Barsha Thakuri, the program co-oridinator. An inter school dance competition was also organized during the event with Karunanidhi School emerging victorious. Durga Humagain
